Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Mita Hiremath and I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist in Pinner, Central London, and online.

Counselling and Psychotherapy in a safe, comfortable and private setting

I have 30 years of experience in helping people manage difficult emotions and move to a better place, combining a number of different approaches to make sure each individual receives a form of support that works for them. By working together in a calm, strictly confidential space, we will get to the root of your problems and develop positive solutions that allow you to make the changes you want in your life.

Sessions are available at my private practice in Pinner, and at a group practice in Bloomsbury, London where I am a senior therapist. I also offer sessions online over Zoom or FaceTime. Feel free to get in touch for a free 10 minute telephone conversation to discuss how I work.

How I Work

Every individual is unique, so I take care to really learn about your particular situation and create a treatment plan that makes sense to you.

That is why I combine a number of different approaches including Transactional Analysis, Attachment Theory and/or EMDR to tailor make a counselling and psychotherapy approach that is unique to each individual.

I see both individuals and couples on a short-term and longer-term basis, giving you a safe, empathetic environment where you feel free to express your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement.

Initial Session

In our first session together, which lasts 50 minutes, you are invited to speak openly about what’s troubling you, without any judgement whatsoever. This is your space to vocalise how you feel in a way that suits you. I will then talk to you about how counselling can help and how we would work together to deal with the issues you have just described to me.

Towards the end of the session, you can then decide whether you want to have further sessions in the future. If we aren’t the right fit for whatever reason, don’t worry. I will be happy to point you elsewhere if required.  

Zoom Sessions

I also offer counselling and psychotherapy over Zoom for individual therapy. This format has proved to be popular and effective. It means you are less likely to miss sessions and it allows you to be more flexible with your time.

I am able to move to a virtual session with some notice if you can’t make a session at my practice in either Pinner, North West London or Bloomsbury, Central London.


I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for getting me through the most difficult period in my life, it definitely hasn’t been an easy journey and I certainly couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for helping me find myself again. I am excited for what my life has in store for me and looking forward to venturing back into the world!


I will always be indebted to you for guiding and supporting me while I tried to unravel why and who I am. You helped me to discover the real me. Most importantly you’ve taught me the importance of listening to what I want and acting on my needs and feelings. You have given me the courage to challenge the goals I had for myself and crucially, you helped me to change myself.


Through my sessions, I have been able to closely examine my own interactions with others, to a level where I am able to recognize what is best for myself. Just having a weekly slot to release all the built-up emotions that have accumulated over the past few years has been an enormous safety valve for me.


My location

I work from Pinner, Middlesex and Central London(Bloomsbury) and see clients from Ruislip, Eastcote, Harrow and the wider Middlesex and London areas.

In addition to providing face-to-face therapy, I also offer online sessions for clients via Zoom or FaceTime. Contact me to find out more about how online therapy works.


Pinner Practice      

  • £70 per session for individual counselling
  • £100 for couples
  • £100 per EMDR session

  • £70 for supervision per session

Central London (Bloomsbury)

  • £120 - £160 (for individual session depending on your financial circumstances)
  • £180 for couples
